Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and RangeIQ ("we", "our", or "us") governing your use of the RangeIQ mobile application for iOS and Android and related services (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Educational Use Only: Not Gambling

RangeIQ is a poker-strategy study and training tool for educational and entertainment purposes only. It does not offer real-money gambling, does not enable wagering, and is not gambling advice. Strategy outputs (ranges, frequencies, equities) are model- and solver-based approximations to help you study; they do not guarantee any outcome, result, or winnings. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any laws regarding poker or gambling in your jurisdiction.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on a mobile device you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. Your Account

You sign in with Google, or with Apple on iOS. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

RangeIQ offers RangeIQ Premium as an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks unlimited coach questions and drills.

• Plans & price: Monthly and Yearly options, with the price and any introductory free trial shown in the App before you purchase. Prices may vary by region and may change with notice.
• Payment: Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase to the store account you bought through: your Apple ID on iOS, or your Google Play account on Android.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trial: If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Managing & cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the store you purchased it from. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: Purchases are handled by the store you bought through and are subject to that store's refund policies, Apple's on iOS and Google's on Android; we do not process payments or refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App; use it to build a competing product; abuse, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its content, and its underlying strategy data are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a license to use the App, not any ownership of it.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that outputs are error-free or will improve your results. You use the App at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. App Store and Google Play Terms

These Terms are between you and RangeIQ only. Neither Apple nor Google is a party to them, and neither is responsible for the App or its content.

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store: Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the extent the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you obtained the App from Google Play: Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App, and your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Any claim relating to the App is between you and RangeIQ, not Google.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App owner is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
